Project Sleep ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Project Sleep.

We respect the privacy of our users and follow the general principles of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) regarding data handling. We do not collect sensitive personal data without your explicit consent.

  • Download Statistics: We track the number of downloads for each ROM build to understand popularity and demand. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.
  • Device Information: When you access our OTA services, we may collect basic device identifiers (such as device model and current ROM version) to provide appropriate updates.
  • Website Analytics: We use privacy-focused analytics to improve our website performance and user experience.

Strict Porting Policy

By downloading and using Project Sleep, you agree to the following strict terms regarding software modification and redistribution:

  • UNAUTHORIZED PORTING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. You are NOT allowed to port, rebase, or repack Project Sleep ROMs for other devices without explicit written permission from the Core Team.
  • Exclusive Maintainership: Only official Team Members listed on our Team page are authorized to build and release Project Sleep for specific devices.
  • Kang / Kanging: Taking our code, resources, or assets and releasing them under a different name or without proper credit is strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban from our community.
  • Legal Action: We reserve the right to take necessary actions, including DMCA takedowns, against any unauthorized builds or distributions found on platforms like Telegram, XDA, or GitHub.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data we collect. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
